The Corporate Development program is designed

to unleash the potential of mid-level and aspiring leaders to meet organizational challenges by influencing and motivating colleagues, thus creating stronger teams. The Cooperative Approach


Local Experts, Hands-On Learning, and Cross-Industry Collaboration

Capital City Cooperative's mission is to Connect and Empower DC Women; through the Corporate Development Program you will walk away as an equipped, confident leader. The curated training modules are taught by female executive leaders in the DC area. Your peers hail from various industries which brings diversity to the classroom and allows for various organizational insights and learnings. 


The course begins with a self assessment and 360-peer review to solicit feedback from colleagues. This collective information will be used as a starting point for your learning journey and better guide our training key takeaways. At the end of the course, your colleagues, managers, and direct reports will notice your refined leadership savvy, executive presence, and emotional intelligence.

Training Sessions 

The program is delivered over a six-month period, covering six key training topics. The trainings take place one Friday a month from 9AM-1PM, including a networking lunch.  Our meeting facility is in downtown DC  and is easily accessible via the Metro Center or Gallery Place-Chinatown metro stations.
